Patriots 2025-2026 Cross Country Schedule Announced

OCALA, Fla. –  After a record setting season with PRs at the NJCAA National 5k and NJCAA National Half Marathon in Richmond, Virginia the Lady Patriots look to set new bests this season.  Head Coach Lauren Godwin expresses excitement about the team's preparation for the Season Opener at Freedom Park in Valdosta, Georgia on September 5th.  The ladies will race the VSU Border Clash at 6:15 p.m. beginning their 2025 campaign.

Sophomores Adrienne Bunn, Rylee Zell, Concepcion Fradera, and Gabby Fugate will lead a team of nine incoming freshmen including high school standouts Aidian Cordero Santana, Hayden Taylor, and Michelle Ernst.  The team also welcomes Taylor Yancey, Camila Castro, Alana Fielding, and Andrea Giraldo

 

After the Pats race in Valdosta, they will travel to Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida on September 12 for the HOKA Nights of Thunder, an 8 p.m. Friday evening race.  Apalachee Regional Park is the site home to the FCSAA Region 8 Championships later in the season.  Three weeks after competing in Tallahassee, the Lady Patriots will travel to Lake Mary to race in the Alligator Lake Invite on October 3. The following week the Pats will head back to Lake Mary for the FGC Invite on October 10.

 

Two weeks later, CF will head to the state capital and compete in the FCSAA Region 8 Championships in Tallahassee on Friday, October 24. 

 
Two weeks following the FCSAA Championships, the Patriots will head to Iowa to compete in the NJCAA 5k Championships in Fort Dodge on November 8. The 2025 NJCAA National Championship Half Marathon then takes place three days later on November 11 in Fort Dodge, Iowa at the Lakeside Municipal Golf Course.
