The College of Central Florida baseball team has firmly established itself as a powerhouse in the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA). Following a stellar season that saw them capture the Citrus Conference title, the program was heavily rewarded during the release of the 2025-26 FCSAA Division I All-Conference baseball teams.
An impressive seven Patriots players were selected to the All-Citrus Conference squad, while Head Coach Marty Smith took home the prestigious Citrus Conference Coach of the Year award.
Central Florida's dominance was on full display in the First-Team selections, with six Patriots earning top honors for their performance this season. Leading the charge was Victor Martinez, who earned First-Team honors, was named to the Citrus Conference All-Defensive Team at first base, and was recognized as one of the elite Top 10 Players in the entire conference. Martinez was the engine of the Patriots' offense, posting a stellar .383 batting average with 11 home runs, 67 hits, and a team-leading 63 RBIs.
Joining Martinez on the First-Team was outfielder Jose Correa, whose exceptional two-way play earned him a spot on the All-Defensive Team alongside his First-Team nod. Correa was a nightmare for opposing pitchers, finishing the year with a blistering .408 batting average, an incredible .524 on-base percentage, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs, and 49 runs scored.
Designated hitter Ignacio Salaverria also grabbed a well-deserved First-Team selection for his offensive firepower. Salaverria provided incredible consistency at the plate, hitting .365 on the season while driving in 30 runs and scoring 40 times.
The Patriots' pitching staff proved to be the most formidable in the conference, securing an incredible three First-Team spots:

Jay Jung was a reliable starter for Central Florida, throwing 67.0 innings and racking up 61 strikeouts while maintaining a solid 3.36 ERA.

Kaiden Lopez was equally impressive, posting a 5-1 record. He struck out a team-high 68 batters over 59.0 innings of work, finishing with a 3.51 ERA.

Jake Meadows also secured a spot as one of the Citrus Conference's Top 10 Players overall, highlighting his dominance out of the bullpen this spring. Meadows was virtually untouchable, boasting a 2.29 ERA and an impressive 28 strikeouts in just 19.2 innings.
Rounding out the list of honorees for Central Florida was infielder Balint Piros, who was recognized for his hard work and consistency with a Second-Team All-Citrus Conference selection. Piros batted an excellent .340 for the year, tallying 54 hits, 3 home runs, and 39 RBIs.
The success of the players on the field is a direct reflection of the leadership in the dugout. Because of Central Florida's incredible run to the top of the conference standings, Head Coach Marty Smith was rightfully named the Citrus Conference Coach of the Year.
