The College of Central Florida Patriots (33-19) earned the second seed in the FCSAA Region 8 State Tournament and host the Northwest Florida State Raiders (30-18). The Raiders finished 3rd in the Panhandle Conference and earned the final spot in the tournament by edging out Polk State in the seedings. The two teams with play a best of three series starting Friday, May 1st at 1 PM at Goodlett Field in Ocala. The winner of the series will move on to the Final Four Championship in Tampa, FL.
