Four College of Central Florida Baseball Standouts Earn 2026 All-FCSAA Honors

The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) has officially unveiled its 2026 Division I Baseball Awards, and the College of Central Florida (CF) is well-represented. Following a highly competitive season, four standout Patriots have been recognized for their exceptional individual performances, earning spots on the prestigious All-FCSAA First and Second Teams.

Leading the charge for the Patriots is sophomore ace Jake Meadows, who secured First-Team All-FCSAA honors as a pitcher. The right-hander from St. Johns, Florida, was virtually unhittable at times, boasting a 3.16 ERA—the second-best mark in the entire FCSAA. A previously named First-Team All-Citrus selection, Meadows made 14 appearances on the mound, posting a 3-3 record while striking out 69 batters over 77.0 innings of work.

On the offensive side, sophomore infielder Victor Martinez earned Second-Team All-FCSAA honors following a powerhouse season at the plate. Hailing from Orlando, Martinez was a run-producing machine, finishing second in the FCSAA with a staggering 64 RBI. He hit an impressive .372 on the year, launching 12 home runs and crossing the plate 55 times. Beyond his bat, Martinez was also recognized for his stellar glovework, being named the first baseman for the elite FCSAA Division I All-Defensive Team.

Freshman outfielder Jose Correa made an immediate and undeniable impact in his first collegiate season, earning Second-Team All-FCSAA honors. The Doral, Florida native was the most consistent hitter in the state, leading the entire FCSAA with a blazing .434 batting average. Correa paired his contact skills with impressive power and speed, tallying eight home runs, 36 RBI, 54 runs scored, and seven stolen bases.

Rounding out the CF honorees is sophomore right-handed pitcher Jay Jung, who was named to the All-FCSAA Second Team. The Seoul, South Korea native established himself as one of the premier strikeout artists in the state. Jung finished fourth in the FCSAA with 82 strikeouts over 78.1 innings pitched, anchoring the rotation with a 6-5 record and a solid 4.02 ERA.

All four of these athletes were previously recognized as First-Team All-Citrus Conference selections, and their elevation to the All-State level highlights their status among the very best junior college players in Florida. Their individual accolades are a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication within the College of Central Florida baseball program. Congratulations to Meadows, Martinez, Correa, and Jung on a fantastic 2026 season!
