OCALA--The College of Central Florida baseball team continues to roll as they defeated CCBC-Catonsville 12-7 on Tuesday afternoon at Goodlett Field.

A double by Christian Smallwood and a single by Zach West put the Patriots up 3-0 after the first inning. CCBC countered with two unearned runs of their own in the top of the second.

Smallwood drove in two more runs in the bottom of the second before giving way to a four-run fourth inning that included a two-run home run from David Flores.

The Patriots added three more insurance runs in the sixth inning off back-to-back homers from Smallwood and Flores.

Smallwood finished the day 3-for-5 with five RBI and three runs scored, while Flores blasted two homers and drove in three.

On the mound, Mark Potter pitched a scoreless inning and struck out one for the win in an outing that was shared with seven other Patriot pitchers.
