#CFVB FALLS TO POLK STATE IN STATE TOURNAMENT ELIMINATION MATCH

OCALA--College of Central Florida volleyball season came to end Saturday afternoon after falling to Polk State College in an elimination match at the FCSAA Volleyball State Championships.

The Lady Patriots needed a win against the Eagles in order to keep their state championship hopes alive, but PSC proved to be too much for CF, sweeping them in straight sets [18-25, 18-25, 16-25].

Carolin Santa led CF with nine kills in the loss, while Marina Cruz tallied 12 digs. Taynan Paiva notched five total blocks (3 assist, 2 solo). 

CF finished the regular season 19-9 overall, 6-2 in conference and brought home a seventh consecutive Mid-Florida Conference title.
