OCALA—The College of Central Florida women's basketball team welcomed NJCAA National Champions Tallahassee Community College to Patriot Gym for a weekday match up on Tuesday evening.

NJCAA No. 5/ FCSAA No. 3 TCC took a 53-15 halftime lead and never looked back. The Eagles knocked down 12 three-pointers on the night, eight in the first  half, while shooting 65 percent from the free throw line in the win. CF shot 33 percent from the field.

Freshman guard Raquel Tolbert recorded her second double-digit performance, leading the Lady Patriot offense with 12 points on the night. N'Mya Pierce started her first game of the season and recorded 10 points. Newcomer Desiree Mack grabbed a team high 11 rebounds.

CF will look to rebound on Friday and Saturday when it hosts the CF Women's Basketball Shootout at Patriot Gym. Action gets underway on Friday with games at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. before the Lady Patriots take on Broward College at 8 p.m. On Saturday, CF will host Eastern Florida State College at 6 p.m. with two games tipping off prior at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
