#CFWBB DOWNS INDIAN RIVER BY 30

OCALA--College of Central Florida women's basketball team closed out the last home game of 2017 with a win over Indian River State College on Tuesday night at Patriot Gym.

The Lady Patriots went into the half up 37-22 and lead by as many as 32 points in the second  half before closing out the Pioneers 81-51. The thirty-point win is the largest margin of victory for CF this season.

Marcella Lamark dos Santos recorded her sixth double-double of the season, scoring a season-best 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Texas Tech commit is averaging 13.1 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game this season while recording double-digit performances in seven of nine games played this year.

Anna Clara Juul Mogensen scored a season-best 18 points in the win and Shambria Washington added 14 points. Washington is averaging 16.1 points per game heading into the Christmas break.

CF will be back in action at Patriot Gym on January 13 when they host Daytona State College for the first home, conference doubleheader of the season. The ladies will tipoff at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
