OCALA--College of Central Florida women's basketball player Amanda Melosky has signed a national letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Georgia Southwestern State University.
Melosky, a two-year starter from Land O Lakes, Fla., appeared in 59 games for the Lady Patriots, starting 44. The Mid-Florida First Team All-Conference selection averaged 9.7 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game in her two-year career, averaging a team-high 11 points per game as a sophomore.
Amanda recorded eight double-doubles while here at CF and scored 10 or more points on 24 occasions throughout her career. The FCSAA & MFC All-Academic honoree recorded career-highs against North Central Missouri as a freshman, scoring 25 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
