OCALA—The College of Central Florida men's basketball team rolled past DME Sports Academy on Tuesday night at Patriot Gym.

The Patriots (4-0) shot out to a 20-point halftime lead, shooting more than 60 percent from the field, and never looked back. CF led by as many as 43 points in the second half, cruising to a 92-56 win.

CF shot 53 percent from the field, while holding DME to just 27 percent on the night. The Patriots also got a huge lift from its bench, outscoring DME's bench 40-15, while also converting 18 points off turnovers.

Six Patriot players finished in double figures, with sophomore guard Quenton Jackson leading the way with 15 points. Newcomer David Anukaeny recorded his first double-double as a Patriot, coming off the bench to record 11 points and 11 rebounds. Other top scorers on the night include: Jeremy Sheppard (13), Rajan Barnes (11), and Jaron Williams and Latrell Jones each finished with 10 points.

CF will head to St. Petersburg College on Friday before returning home to host ASA-Miami for a Sunday matinee. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

CF WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Lady Patriots picked up a big road win over Hillsborough Community College, defeating the Hawks 70-63 on Tuesday night in Tampa.
