FORMER MBB STANDOUT RATLIFFE HONORED WITH KOREAN CITIZENSHIP

OCALA-- Former CF men's basketball standout Ricardo Ratliffe became the first foreign-born basketball player to be honored with Korean citizenship on Thursday in Seoul. Ratliff was added to the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup roster after he passed an interview with the Ministry of Justice earlier in the week.

The two-time NJCAA All-American led the nation in scoring in each of his two seasons, 2008-2010, at CF. He averaged 27 points per game in his career and set program records for most career points (1,653) and most points in a season (855) that still stand today. 

Ratliffe, tabbed as the best center in the Korean Basketball League according to the Korean press, made is professional debut in Korea in 2012 after playing two season for the University of Missouri.
