#CFMBB DOWNS FSCJ BY MORE THAN 35

OCALA--CF men's basketball team picked up a crucial road win on Wednesday night at Florida State College at Jacksonville. 

FCSAA No. 4 CF exploded to a 62-27 first half lead before defeating the Blue Wave by more than 35 points to close out the night 95-56.

Xzavier Barmore scored a season-high 24 on the night, while Canberk Kus added 19 points, Rajan Barnes recorded 13 points and Quenton Jackson rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 points. 

CF currently sits in second place in the Mid-Florida Conference at 7-3 with two conferences games to play. Eastern Florida State College sits atop the conference, one game ahead of CF. The Patriots will need to win out its final two games and hope for an EFSC loss in order to clinch first place and secure a spot in the upcoming state tournament.

If the Titans win out, CF will have to play in a playoff game to be determined for a chance in the FCSAA State Tournament.

CF tips off in its final home game on Saturday night against Daytona State on sophomore night. The doubleheader will get underway with the women tipping off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the me at 7:30.
