#CFMBB DOWNS FSCJ BY MORE THAN 40, REMAINS PERFECT IN CONFERENCE

OCALA--The College of Central Florida men's basketball team remains perfect in conference play after downing Florida State College at Jacksonville 108-59 on Saturday night at Patriot Gym.

This was the second meeting between the two teams. In the first meeting, CF slid by the Blue Wave 77-73 in Jacksonville. 

The Patriots (21-3, 6-0 MFC) went into the half up 59-27 and shooting 71.9 percent from the field. In the second half, CF tacked on another 49 points to put up 100 or more points for the sixth time this season. As a team, the CF offense shot 62.3 percent from the field and held FSCJ to just 35 percent.

Rajan Barnes and Carlos Dotson led CF with 17 points each, while Antwan Maxwell recorded his fifth double-double of the season (12 points, 10 rebounds). Barnes tied his season-high performance with 17 points. In total, six of 10 Patriot players scored in double figures in the win.

CF will travel to Daytona for a conference doubleheader at Daytona State College. The women will tipoff at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
