#CFMBB RALLIES PAST IRSC TO IMPROVE TO 8-1

OCALA--The College of Central Florida men's basketball team rallied back to defeat Indian River State College on the road on Wednesday night.

Sophomore wing Canberk Kus came in clutch for the Patriots again, knocking down the winning shot with four seconds to play. Indian River tried to counter, but couldn't convert on the hail mary shot. The Patriots held on to defeat the Pioneers 77-76 in Fort Pierce.

With the win, CF improves to 8-1 on the season.

Kus and Xavier Barmore led the offensive attack with 18 points each, while Kus also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds on the night. Carlos Dotson had 12 points and five rebounds and point guard Kevin Hunt Jr. added 10 points.

CF will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to St. Petersburg College. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
