#CFMBB ROLLS PAST ST. PETE, IMPROVES TO 6-0

OCALA-- College of Central Florida men's basketball team improved to 6-0 on the season after downing reigning FCSAA state champions St. Petersburg College on Tuesday night at Patriot Gym.

CF, ranked No. 6 in the current FCSAA state polls, went into the half up by eleven points. SPC rallied back at the start of the second half to cut the Patriot lead to as little as two points, but the Patriots proved to be too much for SPC, defeating the Titans 87-70. 

As a team, CF dominated on the boards outrebounding St. Pete 52-38 in the win.

Carlos Dotson recorded his second consecutive double-double with 18 points and a season-high 18 rebounds. Liberty University Xavier Barmore added 15 points in the win.

Three other Patriot players scored in double figures on the night, including: Van Turner Jr. (11pts), Quenton Jackson (11pts) and Canberk Kus (10pts). 

CF will be back in action on Friday and Saturday when they host a Thanksgiving Shootaround. The Patriots will welcome No. 2 Chipola College on Friday at 8 p.m. and South Georgia Tech on Saturday at 6 p.m.
