Men's Basketball upends No. 21 College of Southern Idaho

TWIN FALLS--The College of Central Florida men's basketball team earned a 74-59 win over NJCAA No. 21 College of Southern Idaho to complete its three-game road trip at 2-1.

K.J. Maura led the way with 21 points and nine assists for CF. Devaughn Jenkins and Paul Turner added 17 points each for the Patriots, who led 37-23 at halftime.

Jenkins led CF with eight rebounds, as the team enjoyed a 42-39 edge on the boards.

The Patriots held CSI to 22 percent shooting in the first half and 32.8 percent for the game.

CF, meanwhile, buried 8-of-22 from 3-point range, led by Maura, who made 5-of-8.

Eddy Polanco added six assists for the Patriots, as they assisted on 18-of-27 made baskets.

The Patriot men's basketball team will take a breather before gearing up for a weekend of basketball, starting with State College of Florida at home on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. Then, they will host the 2015 Men's JUCO Shootout Saturday and Sunday.
