OCALA-Northwest Florida State dominated from start to finish in a 99-75 rout of Miami Dade.
The Raiders (28-2) earned their third trip to the NJCAA National Tournament in four years with a rout of the Sharks.
With the win, NWFS will face Eastern Florida State on Saturday night at 7:30 for the state championship.
The game is a rematch of an 89-81 win by the Raiders back in November.
It is also a rematch of the 2000 state championship game, won by Eastern, then known as Brevard Community College, over NWFS, then called Okaloosa Walton.
In the win on Friday, the Raiders just missed out on becoming the first team to score over 100 points on the men's side since their 2005 team rang up 105 on Palm Beach State in the opening round.
NWFS jumped out to a 15-3 lead and led by 22 in the rout. The Raiders made 65.6 percent from the floor in the first half and ended up at 57.8 percent.
Jalen Jackson (21 points, six rebounds), Brandon Austin (17 points, four rebounds), Benji Bell (13 points, five assists) and Jordan Capps (13 points, six rebounds) led the way for the Raiders, the No. 5 team in the nation.
Marvin Jean-Pierre (22 points), Shane Rector (18 points), Joe Mvuezolo (11 points) and Anthony Thompkins (10 points) led MDC (19-11), which was one day removed from its first state tournament win in 10 years.
