#CFBASEBALL POWERS PAST CCBC-CATONSVILLE IN 24-HIT DAY

OCALA-- The College of Central Florida baseball team continues its streak, recording its 14th consecutive win after powering past CCBC-Catonsville (Md.) 26-1 in seven innings.

As a team, the Patriots scored 26 runs on 24 hits, including three home runs from Nolan Machibroda, Ricky Presno and Tristan Rodriguez.

Machibroda finished the day 3-for-4 at the plate with five RBI and three runs scored, while James Nix (3-for-5) also drove in five runs. Newcomer Andre James had his best day at the plate, finishing a season-best 4-for-4 with four RBI. 

Sophomore left-handed pitcher Codie Lunday did not allow an earned run on two hits, striking out four in five innings of work to record his first win of the season. 

With the win, CF improves to 14-1 and currently ranks No. 3 in the current FCSAA state baseball rankings.

CF will head to South Georgia State College on Friday before returning home to host FCSAA No. 2 Florida SouthWestern State College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
