OCALA-- The College of Central Florida baseball team's offense continued its dominance, downing Eastern Florida State College 15-5 on the road in Melbourne.
A three-run homer by David Flores put the Patriots on the board in the fourth inning. An inning later, CF put up a five spot on the Titans with a double by Luis Medina and a pair of errors and a hit by pitch from Eastern Florida.
CF drove in another run in the sixth inning, before the Patriots exploded for another five-run inning in the seventh off a pair of singles, an EFSC error, and a bases loaded walk.
The Titans countered with a five-run inning of their in the bottom of the seventh, but the Patriots' offense proved too much for the Titans in the end.
Flores led the Patriots going 2-for-4 at the plate with two homers, 4 RBI and three runs scored. Other key contributors include: Medina (1-for-4, 2 RBI, 4 runs scored), Marabell (2-for-5, 3 RBI) and Christian Smallwood (3-for-6, RBI, 3 runs scored).
On the mound, USF signee Ben Koff threw five scoreless innings, no walks and struck out three to pick up his second win of the season.
On the weekend, the Patriots' offense went 2-0 with 35 hits, 35 runs and eight home runs.
CF will be back in action on Monday when it hosts St. Petersburg College at 3 p.m.
