Baseball downs Santa Fe 10-1

OCALA--The College of Central Florida baseball team won its seventh straight Mid-Florida Conference game, as it took down rival Santa Fe College 10-1 on Monday afternoon.

CF pounded out 16 hits, five of which were for extra bases.

B.J. Harmon (4-for-4, run scored, three RBI), Luke Heyer (1-for-5, run scored, two RBI), John Cassala (2-for-4, run scored, RBI), Levi Hollingsworth (2-for-4), Garrett Wright (1-for-1, run scored), Connor Crile (3-for-5, two runs scored, two RBI), N.J. Williamson (1-for-4, two runs scored, RBI) and Kevin Gomez (2-for-4, run scored) led the way for the Patriots at the plate.

Cassala, Hollingsworth, Harmon and Crile doubled for CF, while Heyer finished with a truiple.

Cooper Wallace went seven innings and allowed one run on two hits for the win. Wallace walked three and struck out two.

Kyle Hansen threw two perfect innings to close out the combined two-hitter.

CF jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning and added four in the fifth, before it scored three in the seventh.
