Lebron K's 12, leads Patriots past Lake-Sumter

LEESBURG- The College of Central Florida baseball team got a season-high 12 strikeouts from David Lebron in a 5-0 win over Lake-Sumter State College on Friday afternoon.

The Patriots (22-15, 5-9) have won the opening two games of the series with the LakeHawks behind Lebron, who went 6 2/3 innings and scattered four hits, along with three walks.

Lebron threw 96 pitches, 61 for strikes, and delivered first-pitch strikes to 18-of-27 hitters he faced.

CF led 1-0 until the sixth when it opened up the game with three runs.

Ryan Knowles (2-for-5, two runs scored, two doubles, RBI), N.J. Williamson (2-for-4, two RBI, double), Bradley Felkel (2-for-4, run scored, RBI) and B.J Harmon (2-for-4) led the Patriots at the plate.

CF finished with four doubles in the victory.
