OCALA- The College of Central Florida baseball team was well represented when the Mid-Florida Conference released its awards.
A total of seven players were named to either first or second team all-conference for the Patriots, who finished the season on a four-game winning streak and were tied for third in the MFC.
Tatis is the lone freshman of the group, while the other three standouts were part of the program's run to a third-place finish in the state last season.
Khawam (Florida International), Crile (UCF), and Brown (UWF) have already signed to play at the four-year level.
For Khawam, it capped a memorable career that saw him earn CF's MVP for all sports and baseball MVP as a freshman.
Crile, a local product from North Marion High School, continued the success from Marion County schools at CF. He follows the likes of his high school coach, Dale Hall, another former CF standout under coach Marty Smith, as players moving on to the four-year level. Hall played at Florida A&M after his time at CF.
Ambrosino joined Khawam, Brown and Crile as key fixtures for CF over the past two seasons, while Mira and Lebron were impact players in their first year with the Patriots this past spring.
