Baseball still looking for answers, fall to Seminole

OCALA- The College of Central Florida baseball team's struggles continued, as they dropped their fifth consecutive game in an 11-1 defeat at the hands of Seminole State on Saturday afternoon.

CF (24-18, 9-8) has also lost four straight conference games.

The Patriots will attempt to turn things around when they visit rival Santa Fe on Monday afternoon at 3.

Against Seminole, CF finished with nine hits, but were unable to get much across against the Raiders.

Malik Tatis (3-for-4, double) and Christian Khawam (2-for-3) led the Patriots at the plate.
CF fell behind 4-0 after four innings, before it scored its first run of the game in the fifth.

From there, the Raiders scored four times in the seventh and three times in the eighth to invoke the mercy rule.

With the loss, CF fell to 2-1 on the year against the Raiders.
