LEESBURG- The College of Central Florida baseball team saw its seven-game conference winning streak come to an end with a 2-1 road loss to Lake-Sumter State on Saturday afternoon.

The Patriots fell behind 2-0 in the first, but cut the margin in half on a solo homer by Luke Heyer.

Heyer and Malik Tatis had two hits each for the Patriots. Christian Khawam, Ben Ellzey, Andrew Frazier and Ryan Crile added hits for CF.

CF now stands at 24-13 overall and 9-4 in the Mid-Florida Conference.
