Ten CF athletes finish with 4.0GPA, baseball team finishes top overall GPA

OCALA-- The College of Central Florida athletic program enjoyed a great deal of success away from athletic competition, as 10 student-athletes had perfect grade-point averages for the fall term.

Miguel Cartagena Reyes (men's basketball), Quira Demery (women's basketball), Iseoluwapo Jegede (men's basketball), Jordan Lane (softball), David Lebron (baseball), Morgan Matthews (softball), Thais Oliveira (women's basketball), Eddy Polanco (men's basketball), Marcella Rocha (women's basketball) and Garrett Wright (baseball) were the CF student-athletes to achieve a perfect GPA.

The 10 students with perfect grades is the highest for the CF athletic program in recent memory and is seven more than last year's fall term.

In all, the CF athletic program totaled a combined 3.11 grade point average.

CF's baseball team had the highest GPA at 3.19, followed by softball with an overall team GPA of 3.15.
