Ocala, FL-- The College of Central Florida baseball team continued its hot streak.

This time around, the Patriots smacked four home runs and got yet another solid pitching performance from Boomer Biegalski in a 12-3 rout of Lake Sumter State on Friday afternoon at Goodlett Field.

The Patriots (21-12, 6-4) have won four of their last five conference games overall and their last four Mid-Florida Conference home games.

CF got two home runs from Christian Khawam, including a three-run blast during a six-run effort in the sixth inning, when it snapped a 3-all tie.

Khawam, who now has six homers on the season, finished the day 4 for 5 with three runs scored and a four RBI.

He was backed at the plate by Ryan Smith (2 for 4, two runs scored, RBI home run), N.J. Williamson (2 for 4, two runs scored, four RBI, home run), Enderson Velasquez (2 for 5, RBI) and Justin Ambrosino (double).

Smith and Williamson both homered in the seventh inning, as the Patriots put some more distance between themselves and the LakeHawks (14-15, 1-11).

Biegalski (5-2) improved to 3-0 in conference play with his fourth straight strong outing against MFC foes.

The two-time state pitcher of the week who earned his second honor of the season by the state's coaches, went seven innings, allowed three runs on six hits.

Biegalski walked just one and struck out six.
